Mark was sitting trying out our new patio furniture when he heard leaves shuffling from the trees and then a big thud on the ground. His heart stopped as he stood up to check out the situation with in mind that the sound was probably a snake. And he was right. He calls me to come outside, "You won't even believe this, come right now, you won't belive this (he repeats this several times)." So I come but of course I grab my camera.
Mark tells me that it is going to take a couple weeks for him to get over this! LOL

OOOMMMGGGGG!!!! It's soooo long. Thank God the kids weren't outside by themselves in the yard. I can just picture one of them running up to it [Lulu or Tony] and trying to see it closer or pet it. So what now?? How do you keep it or another one out of the yard for the kids safety? I guess this is all part of living in TX.

Did Mark kill it? he should have chopped its head off and thrown it over the fence (you know the side with the school :)). Seriously though, he should have killed it because at least then you would have known your back yard was safe for your kids.....that or get a snake hunting dog. P.S. Susan hates snakes and was having a fit looking at your blog (hehe).
We have taken a family vote, and we have decided that you guys should just move back to Colorado. We got chills just looking at the video/pictures. You all are very brave.
