Time to Camp

Alright, the heat is still 90 degrees and it's 8:00. That's hard to get comfortable when it's hot, humid and you're sweating. But they proceeded on with plans. The boys were really excited.

Now it's 8:45 and the temperature is 88 degrees (WhaHo, it's gone down 2 degrees). Just took showers and dressed the bed in the tent. They are reading Curious Georges Goes Camping, it's only appropriate, right!

So now they are ready to sleep under God's stars.

On a side note: Aliana and I tried to camp on my bed for the night since the boys were having a boys night out. That didn't work out so well and she ended up still awake at 10:00 (her normal bed time is 7:30 as well as the boys) and then went to her bed after this. She thought it was time for wrestle mania and couldn't calm down. So at this same time as I was putting her in her bed I could still hear the boys talking outside. All I could think was God Bless Daddy and we are going to have a hard day tomorrow!

Good Morning Boys~it's 6:00am.

They got so hot that they ended up sleeping in the underwear. But the temperature did go down to 77 degrees. So much better than when they went to sleep. (You can even see the humity in the photo).

So I got the 411 about the camp experience from daddy. He stated that they were still awake around 3:00am; every time someone fell asleep the other one would wake that sleeping person up (nose blowing, stealing an occupied pillow or nyny, falling off the bed, asking questions, hearing monsters, etc). He said it was a vicious cycle. They all stuck it out and once the night was over Mark did say he would do it again. I added that it would be better and more enjoyable in the Spring or Fall.

But we are really looking forward to having the "Experienced Wilderness Papa's" sleep in the tent with the boys (papa lusk and papa steve). More great memories; think about it!!
