This was a really cool playscape, lake and fish hatchery. The hatchery was restored and then the playscape was created to resemble it. It made me feel like we were in Colorado again. I loved this little area.
We found a turtle that, I think, was digging a hole preparing to lay her eggs. Now, this is just what it looked it. Aliana loved it the most. She kept screaming out of excitement, waving and saying hi to it and even tried to pet it in the eye (hahah). We ended up having to leave so we didn't give the poor thing a heart attack.
So went down to the lake where they learned about spiders & frogs.
