Visiting Another Park

This park has been on my mind for awhile after seeing it from the road but I didn't know how to get down to it.  So this day we went exploring to find this park and we found it while the boys chanted in the back of the van, "You can do it. Don't give up!" again...and again.  I turn around to look at them and they both just look right back at me and smile big.  My little cheerleading team.
When we arrived we had a nice greeting from about 5 ducks who obviously wanted food.
Tony was a little apprehensive at first and Alex just wanted to chase them all.
Tony is becoming a good protector of his little sister.  He's grabbing her arm so she doesn't fall in the creek.
Climbing a tree or at least trying to.
They all found different squirrels and ran in different directions chasing them.  I stood in one spot as my head went bouncing continuously between the three until they were done.  Luckily they joined Alex and his squirrel in this tree.  It was cute to see how excited they were to be here.  It reminded me of dog's chasing butterflies in a field.
Breaking for lunch by the creek.
Here come the ducks again.
Sharing her sandwich.
This was a memorial park for WWII veterans.
A missile from a submarine during WWII.
The boys loved the story I told about how a missile is used and what it does.  They went running acting like they were missiles and exploding when it hits something.
Had to make time to climb the light post ;-)

Looks like you had a wonderful time at this park!! Love how Tony is protective of Ali!! The ducks looked quite large compared to Aliana's size....kinda scarry for her I bet! Fun, Noni <3

wouldnt it be great if your other hand was just a camera? That way, you would not have to carry it around with you every where you go! :)

Rob, that is a fabulous idea. It's gotten to the point that Alex asks me to take certian pictures and they each want to capture things. Oy-vay!
