Our history lesson was about the early travelers 40,000 years ago. How they moved from one place to another and why. After the story we made coracles (boats from cut down trees) and baskets.
They made a coracle out of pipe cleaners & plastic and then made a pipe (cleaner) family to sit inside.
Aliana and I (with the help from Alex) made a grass weaved basket for her pipe baby.

We ended up calling him Moses since she made a basket for the water.
Testing out their coracles in the water and creating wind to make it move.
They worked.
