We are studying the Ancient Egyptians - what they wore, how they made them and the reasoning behind it.
A part of the lesson was how they made their jewelry. So Alex made an Egyptian collar that both men and women wore to show their status in the community; he also got the idea that he was to then look like an Egyptian. That is the reason behind the black eyes...they were temporarily Egyptians for the night. (and they still looked like them a little bit the next morning.)
Alex is showing his dominance like King Tut did. (We do know that he was a bad king.)
Aliana loved her eyes. She tried to protect them in the shower from the water :-)
Tony liked the eyes but showed a different side that the make-up brought out in him.
