These were birds that you could legally feed. So they feasted on Golden Grahams ;)
This was a natural spring. So blow up the picture and you can see the water bubbling up from the center of the pool.
This is what lives in it.

wow, you can really start to see my face swelling up in the picture from the minivan (left side and eyes begining to look squinty...)
